The creators called their new cognac "Rashkov" in honour of moldavian wine-making home. Town-fortress Rashkov goes back to over 600 years ago when it sprang up in the most picturesque place on the left bank of the Dniester. The place is buried in gardens, surrounded with picturesque ravines, grottos and life-giving mineral sources... Classic cognacs "Rashkov" are a special gift which was born on the abundant land of Moldavia and made by enthusiastic labour of wine-makers at Tiraspol wine-cognac plant "KVINT". Fine gustatory qualities , refined flavour, rich goldish colour of cognacs "KVINT" - "Rashkov 3 -year-old" and "Rashkov - 5- year-old" were highly appreciated at the international competitions and rewarded with golden medals.

"Rashkovv" is the finest vine-growing region of Pridnestrovie, 500 hectares of land, very suitable for vine-growing development. Grapes are such a crop which can't be cultivated immediately after previous crops. It takes certain time to prepare soil, to do some serious laboratory researches of the soil composition to find out if there are some components available which just won't allow to cultivate grapes in future. Such researches are already being carried out, new massifs are being projected on these areas and new grape plantations will be planted in the near future.
